RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Continue to improve database resiliency by architecting sound solutions that maximize uptime and have a solid, documented, proven Disaster Recovery (DR) solution.
* Work with software architects and technical managers to design replication solutions that support both transactional and peer to peer replication across three geographically dispersed data centers.
* Work with Operations team planning server hardware, storage and OS configuration upgrades to help get the most out of SQL Server for specific application requirements and performance metrics.
* Work with other team members to implement new industry leading off-the-shelf SQL Monitoring tool that provides a at a glance dashboard of system health/up-time.
* Continue to improve and automate the refresh of development and test environments both on-premise and cloud based hardware and storage.
* Act as a the first line of defense on improving queries that impact customer experience and communicate back changes and recommendations to the development group.
* Coordinate with second shift team to improve processes with overnight maintenance, deployments and monitoring so you and your manager can sleep soundly through the night.

Web Application Developer
The Web Application Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies.

Tasks Expected to be Performed
